Convenient and Accessible
Video therapy is an easy way to connect when life is too busy to accommodate a face to face session, you live too far, or when the weather is bad! We are currently licensed to provide video therapy in the state of Michigan and will need to conduct a brief assessment to determine if video therapy is right for you. Not all insurances cover this service so please check your benefits before scheduling.

We work with women to address these issues as well as provide screening and assessment for other mood and mental health issues including: post-partum depression,anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and trauma.

Black women represent the most educated segment of the population yet women of color occupy less than 11% of management, senior management and executive roles. Women of color also represent the fastest growing segment of small business owners in the U.S. We are soaring to new heights and occupying new spaces as entrepreneurs and professionals, but we often have trouble claiming our seat at the table.
How We Help
We honor you as the expert on yourself while providing a safe space for you to process and to explore and define your values. As a team, you and your therapist will create a plan that focuses on targeting the thoughts and behaviors that get in the way of your actions aligning with your values. It could be social anxiety or low self-esteem that prevents you from networking and creating the new and vital relationships that are needed as you progress on your career/entrepreneurial ladder; overcoming the fear of being assertive while developing skills and strategies to advocate for yourself within relationships and in the workplace; struggling with finances and/or short and long term financial planning. Whatever the barrier, we believe that you are fully competent and capable of achieving your goals and would be honored to have the opportunity to partner with you on your journey.

This is completely normal and expected. There are so many changes happening and you may not know where to start - and that’s okay.

You’ve just finished college and are are struggling with your next steps. Or, maybe you’ve landed your dream job are having difficulty navigating the work place and creating optimal work/social/home life balance. Or, maybe you are new to the city and having finding it hard to create new relationships. This is a new an even more independent stage of your life and while it can be an exciting adventure, it’s not easy!
